Pharmacy technicians are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and work alongside other members of the practice team.
Our pharmacy technicians:
Prepare repeat prescriptions
Support patients in getting the best outcomes from their medicines
Carries out prescribing audits
Supports the team with medication safety
Dispensary Manager and Dispensary Assistants
At our Sutton Benger branch surgery, we are able to offer a dispensary service to our rural patients who would otherwise find it difficult to get to a local Pharmacy to collect their medicines.
Our Dispensary Manager is responsible for the smooth running of the dispensary at Sutton Benger and the safe dispensing of medications to patients. Dispensary Assistants support the Manager in peparing and dispensing medicines, including processing repeat requests for prescriptions and recieving, loading and unloading delivieries.
